Fasoli Gino 100 Year Logo

Fasoli Gino is a historic estate founded in 1925 a short drive outside Verona. Family owned and run a century on, the winery has been working organically since 1984 and biodynamically since 2006. No chemical pesticides are used, ensuring a natural balance of the soil, thus strengthening and revitalizing the plants and promoting biodiversity. For Fasoli Gino the journey that leads from the vineyard to the glass is carried out with total respect for the culture and values of the terroir.

We love Fasoli Gino because they have one foot in the traditional and one in the modern. The winery produces sleek versions of the classic local wines – Amarone, Ripasso, Valpolicella and Bardolino; as well as Soave, Pinot Grigio and Prosecco (a wine lovers’ sparkling dressed up as prosecco). All their wines are enviably approachable and drinkable, and honestly it’s hard not to feel joy when popping the corks on these bottles. The playful geese on the label pay homage to the squawking birds that Matteo Fasoli, son and winemaker, grew up with on the family property. That they are fashionably dressed in tuxedos (the birds, rarely Matteo) represents the evolution of the winery’s commitment to organics, developing refinement and elegance over time.
